Introducing our new feature for you to learn a little more about who the riders are that compete in our race events. We're kicking off with a stalwart of the race scene and long time Gorrick campaigner Nick Onslow who rides for PedalOn in SuperMasters.

What year did you start riding: 1988

What got you into mountain biking: I got into mountain biking after having my BMX stolen. Mountain biking was the up and coming craze, and it didn't take as long to ride to school on.

What was your first bike: 21" Dawes Wild Cat

What do you ride now: A bike for all occasions, but this season I'll be on a Trek 9.9

Favourite Gorrick venue: Crowthorne Woods

Best moment at an event: Being awarded for 100% attendance on your [Gorrick] 10th year.

What next: My main aim this year is to improve on last years results. Top ten Master in the National Points Series and the National Champs, top five in the Southern XC, but as always to keep our sport alive. Most of us don't race for the glory, just to meet the friends we have made over the years, and have a great time.
