How to enter a Race
Gorrick races are open events for all abilities riding mountain bikes, no club membership or licence is required. Enter and pay online or download the appropriate Entry Form to enter in advance. This assures your place on the start line, and means you only have to collect your race number board from Entry Express at the event. You also save money by not having to pay the on-the-day surcharge. Please note however, that pre-entries for every event, whether online or by post, will close on the Tuesday preceding the day of the event as that is when they are processed. Any entries received after that date will be retained at Race Registration and will be subject to an additional on the day charge before a number is issued.
Pre-enter and Pay Online
You can now enter our Race Events online through the Mountain Bike Sport Association. Just click on the "MBSA Enter & Pay" logo to enter quickly, without queuing, in the comfort of wherever you go online, and of course without the additional on the day charge!
When you arrive on race day, your number will be waiting for you to collect from the Entry Express stand at Race Registration.
Pre-enter by Post
- Download and print an entry form for the event. (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader »), or get one from your local mountain bike retailer.
- Complete your personal details.
- Choose a category based either on your age, ability, the number of laps or time depending upon the event type. New riders are recommended to enter Fun or Beginners as per our FAQ's.
- Select multiple event dates if the form allows and total up the payment due.
- Post the form with a cheque to the mailing address. We must receive it before the Tuesday preceding the race.
- No confirmation of receipt will be sent.
- Encourage your friends to take part.
That's it, just keep the accompanying part of the form for reference as a reminder when to turn up. If for any reason the venue is changed to that advertised we will with best endeavors contact pre-entrants.
