Final reminder: TIMING CHANGES AT XC 2 Crowthorne Wood - Sunday 11 November

Just to remind everyone about the changes to our usual format at the XC Classic 2 at Crowthorne Wood on the 11th November.
The morning will run pretty much as usual, including the national 2 minutes of silence at 11am, but we have brought forward the Sport and Expert races to 9.40 and 9.41.
The afternoon timings will now run like this:
12.15 will be the Gorrick 20 Anniversary Race – details are below .
13.30/13.31 Fun Male and Female
14.15/14.16 Open Male and Female
The Gorrick 20 Anniversary Race
From 11.15 we will be going retro with music (Nirvana anyone?) and some of the staff from 1992 plus photo and vintage kit displays. The 2 lap vintage race will be at 12.15 for over 18s and is strictly for fun, so please wear any retro kit that you have and ride your cherished older bikes that we know you still have at the back of your garage!
The race is for any regular Gorrick rider who has done at least 20 races with us over the years. So, if you want to take part, you need to email a request to us (with a scanned photo for our rogues’ gallery if you’ve got one) so that we can put you on the list. Entries will be limited and there will be no entries on the day for the Gorrick 20 race. If you are going to race in your usual category too, it will be an extra £5 for the Gorrick 20 payable on the day when you collect your special number, if not then it will be £25.
So please email us before Tuesday 6th November if you want to take part in this special race.
We have a trophy for the first finisher, but the big winner will be whoever has their returned number drawn from the bin at 13.15 as they will WIN £500 (remember you have to be there at the draw to win!)
